I’m now going into my 16 month as a member of PPC Coach, and a lot of changes have happened since I first joined. The pay per click landscape is constantly changing and the great thing about PPC Coach is its ability to adapt along with it. That’s something you don’t get with a static product like an ebook or any other IM product. So in this blog post, I wanted to fill everyone in on some of the updates since my initial PPC Coach Review.

PPC Coach Community

When I first joined PPC Coach, the forum had about 1500 active members and 50k forum posts. As of today, the forum has grown to 3200 active members, and 106k forum posts. I honestly consider the PPC Coach Forums the most valuable part of the site, even more so than the methods and tools you get access to. Not only have I learned a ton from participating in the forums, I’ve also been able to network and partner with some of the best PPC marketers in the business. While every site has its lurkers, I’m always telling members I talk with to actively participate in the forums as it will benefit you in so many ways.

One issue with a growing community like this is how to make sure everyone’s questions get answered and all members get the support they deserve. So a couple of months back, Will recruited several experienced members of PPC Coach to become moderators on the forums, myself included. He also hired two full-time members Browie and Syowr to be assistant coaches. I think these two guys have been with PPC Coach from the very beginning and their promotions were much deserved. They’re seemingly on the forums 24/7 helping to answer any questions on the forums and answering help desk tickets. With 14 mods, and 2 assistant coaches, you never have to worry about getting answers to the questions you might have.

PPC Coach Methods

PPC Coach itself has been around for more than a couple of years now. There are 12 months worth of methods on the site, but a few of them have become outdated since they were initially written. Will has been hard at work updating many of the older methods and has even introduced several new ones. Especially important are the Month 1 methods which everyone gets access to when they join. Instead of the initial two methods that were available when I joined, there are now a total of 4 methods you can take on, including one that was just added at the beginning of this month.

Each of the newly updated methods are now written up in a detailed step by step format. Everything that you have to do to succeed with the method is now clearly spelled out and easy to follow. For visual learners, Will has also put together videos for each of the steps as well. Although it takes some time to process through all the information presented, it’s definitely worth the effort to ensure your campaigns are successful.

PPC Coach Tools

There are a couple of new PPC Coach tools that have been added to the site as well. The first is the Minisite Generator. This is an awesome tool for people who don’t have the html/php experience to make a site themselves, or for someone who just needs to create some simple sites quickly. Just enter in a keyword, some links and pictures, and the tool will generate a “minisite” for you. The site will be automatically filled with content related to your keyword, together with Contact Us, Privacy and Sitemap pages. Some of the PPC Coach methods make use of these minisites, so you will be making use of this tool quite a bit.

The second tool is the PPC Coach Tracker keyword tracking system. PPC Coach Tracker has been around for awhile now, but Will has decided to make the latest version of the tracker open source. That means anyone can download and use this tracker for their PPC campaigns, and developers can download the code and contribute their enhancements to it. One advantage that PPC Coach Tracker has always had over a tracking system like Prosper202 is the ability automatically update your cost data from Adwords. This new version, while still in beta, includes some killer new features like Rules-based fully automated bid management. I haven’t actually played with it myself yet, but I’m planning to and I’ll write up a future post about it on this blog. In the meantime, check out the PPC Coach Tracker page for more details and give it a try yourself.

Final Thoughts

I’ve been a part of (and left) a couple of other PPC membership sites, and PPC Coach is still the premier pay per click coaching site around. The PPC industry is constantly changing, and its incredibly valuable to learn from people who are making money from this stuff full-time. If you are serious about succeeding with PPC, I’d encourage you to at least try PPC Coach for a month to see if it works for you. Just make sure to take advantage of my $20 PPC Coach discount offer if you do.
