I’m a big fan of PPC Coach in case you couldn’t tell. However, from reading more than six months of posts on the PPC Coach forums and through my own experiences, I can say that PPC Coach is not for everyone. PPC marketing is very competitive, and the people who are successful need a certain mindset. So before you take the plunge and fork over your hard earned cash for a membership, please read my list of the top 5 reasons NOT to join PPC Coach.
1. You Are Afraid of Losing Money – This was the biggest obstacle I personally had to overcome before becoming successful with PPC Coach. If you are too afraid to spend money, then forget about it. You need money to test various campaigns, to test different strategies and to pick the winners from your losers. As they always say, “you gotta spend money to make money”. That’s not to say you should waste money by being stubborn and letting your losers ride or anything like that, but you need to give yourself an adequate budget and stick with it.
2. You Are Not Part of any CPA Networks – PPC Coach is really about making money with PPC and CPA networks. If you haven’t joined any CPA networks, then you will have no offers to use. The more CPA networks you join, the better you will do as this increases your selection of offers to choose from and allows you to rotate between offers to find the best performing ones. Fortunately, there’s a ton of CPA networks available to join. Check out this CPA network guide for some tips on getting accepted and recommended networks to join.
3. You Are Looking To Make Easy Money – Sorry to burst your bubble, but being a PPC Coach member will not make you rich right away. None of the techniques that PPC Coach teaches are Get Rich Quick sorts of methods. If you are looking for blackhat methods to make fast money, you’ll need to look elsewhere. Time and money will need to be invested before you start seeing results with any of the PPC Coach techniques.
4. You Give Up To Easily – If you’ve ever done anything with Google Adwords, you’ll know how frustrating it can be. One day your campaign will be riding high and the next day its been slapped silly. PPC marketing will definitely be a humbling and frustrating experience, especially if you are new to the game. If you can learn from these experiences though, it will be all the more rewarding when you hit on your first profitable campaign. That is one great thing about the PPC Coach forums. You’ll also get to learn from other people’s experiences as well.
5. You Don’t Have Time – PPC Coach will not make successful campaigns for you. If you don’t have the time to perform the required keyword research, to setup your landing pages, then you definitely won’t be making money with PPC Coach. From my experience, running a successful PPC campaign requires a lot of babysitting to track and tweak all the different variables. If you can’t put in the time, then definitely don’t join PPC Coach.
Most of these reasons not to join PPC Coach can be overcome if you really set your mind to it. Being successful with PPC really requires you to have the proper focus and dedication. Once you have that set, PPC Coach can help you with the rest, by providing you with the tools, techniques as well as the support from the great PPC Coach community. So if you think you have what it takes to join PPC Coach, you should definitely give it a try.

“I have been vascilating for the last several days on weteher to join ppc coach and hope you can help with my decsion. I am currently a telemarketer and for the past month i have been doing my due dillagence on the industry. I am fascinated with ppc advertising and very much want to be a part of it and have learned about as much as i think i can without trying it first hand. here are a couple questions that could help me in my decsion:
1. I am not afraid of losing money but do not have alot of disposable income. is that a detering factor?
2. I do not have a website should i build one before i join?
3. Should i be prepared to spend additional money right away on a spywear service like affiliate espionage and ppc bully or would i be getting the same benifit in the forums/ tools?”
