Excellent, this is exactly what I’ve been googling for! I needed to find a method to display ads targeted to UK visitors only for an affiliate scheme. Hopefully my js-savvy fella can help me develop an “else” function to display an alternative ad to those in countries except the UK.

The code works for static html pages since its just using some javascript. As far as showing google ads to non-us visitors, it might be a little messy. You’d just have to put the Adsense code inside the document.write() part and make sure all the quotes are escaped correctly. It might be easier to just use a php geo targeting solution.

and a question.
It only works if the site is in php? since my LPs are mostly html and tried the code you provided in one of them with no luck. If the answer is yes, is there any code for html?
